Does your PS5 no longer read movie and game discs? Are discs unrecognized if you insert them into the drive? Do the "Spinning Disc" indicators keep spinning despite the disc not being inserted? This could indicate that your disc drive is malfunctioning or failing.
Send your PS5 to Good Zone Service and Repairs through mail or bring it in person to get it fixed by expert engineers.
When your console arrives at our facility, it will be examined before being disassembled to determine the precise nature of your malfunctioning drive.
After that, a qualified technician will disassemble your console to properly identify the issue.
This requires disassembling your console and swapping out the problematic Laser Carriage Assembly in the drive.
Since the Laser and Disc motors are changed together with the entire carriage assembly, the drive's internal components are also replaced.
Your Playstation 5 will undergo a soak test once repairs are made to ensure trouble-free gaming when it is delivered back to you.

Yes, it can be replaced. However, it can be a little tricky to replace or upgrade the internal storage on a PS5. You must purchase an appropriate SSD drive (some come with a heatsink, some do not), install it, and tighten the screws by hand.
We advise the 1TB model due to its overall value and the amount of storage you get for your money. The primary caution here is that before installing the SSD in your PS5, you will need to attach your own SSD heatsink at home.
Both are supported by PS5. To save PS5 games in "cold storage", you can download them without using the internet, or to store and play PS4 games, you can either have an external HDD or SSD.
